The first Red Faction was a revolutionary game. It paved the way for the shooter genre and really showed the gaming world what a first person shooter should be. Its been a couple of years since Red Faction came out for Ps2 but now the series is back and ready for next gen consoles. Remember the first time you shot a glass window and it shattered into a bunch of pieces? Or the first time you blew a hole in the wall and watch the environments crumble at you're feet? Remember the game you were playing? Yeah, it was Red Faction. It was a revolutionary game with tons of groundbreaking features that aren't even in some next gen titles today. The AI was intuitive, the game was long, the weapons were awesome, the story was great and the fun went on and on. People forget that THQ made such a revolutionary game and I hope they do it again with their new title Red Faction: Guerrilla.
