Some new StarCraft II pics got posted online tonight. Blizzard is really putting as much action on screen as possible and it looks great but I am worried about how much stress it'll put on a computer. Guess we'll have to wait till it comes out to find out and as usual Blizzard's only response to the question of a release date is "when it's ready."
New trailer just popped up recently for the movie "9". Shane Acker, the director of the short film for which the movie is based, will also direct the full length movie. Timur Bekmambetov who directed Wanted and the great Russian blockbuster NightWatch will produce alongside Hot Topic favorite Tim Burton. Elijah Wood will voice the main character, 9. The movie is CGI but it resembles a bit of the stop motion animation look Burton has become famous for. The blend gives it a very unique and dark look which I am very interested in seeing. Personally, I've never been very excited about the all CGI movies that are so popular but 9 seems to have a very dark and unique look that really interests me. After just watching the both the trailer and short film, this movie will definitely be on my radar. If you haven't seen either, check them both out. For those who missed this at the E3 08, here is the trailer for I Am Alive. This game was rumored as being published by Jade Raymond (Assassins Creed). Those rumors have been proven wrong. As it turns out I Am Alive is being published by Alexis Goddard. The game will be played through a first person perspective and will be an all out disaster-survival game. The Gameplay has been compared to Mirrors Edge, with some calling it "Disasters Edge". This is because there is a limited focus on weapons and there is a sort of "only kill if you have too" feel to it. The Game will take place in the ruins of Chicago and it is truly a survival of the fittest experience. Alexis Goddard explains "We encourage the players to use tactics, diversion, and discretion. An empty shotgun can be very persuasive if enemies don't realize it's out of ammo". Goddard adds "We wanted the player to really feel the power of Mother Nature, to feel the danger coming from the collapsing towers and devastating rifts, feel the chaos happening all around him, there's nothing like a first-person view to create that kind of emotion." I Am Alive is set to be released on April 15th, 2009

Yeah that's right, Nintendo is such a lazy developer that the "New" Mario Power Tennis is just a remake of the Gamecube original. The one thing Nintendo will add is you will now be able to play with you're Wii-mote. Mario Tennis is a fun game but honestly I guarantee it playes better with the Gamecube remotes. I just don't see why they don't make a whole new game entirely, but that's Nintendo for you....

This game is looking better and better with every trailer. In this one you will see how aerial combat is executed. It must be a very important part of the gameplay since they are dedicating a whole trailer to it. There is still no known release date for North America... I know, I know I'm pissed off too.

This February 9th GameStop will halt all sales associated with the original Xbox. You will no longer be able to trade your consoles, controllers, games or accessories. A gamestop employee has said "The Marketing kit for this coming Sunday has a sign that says Gamestop will no longer be accepting Xbox games, systems and accessories as of Feb 9th. Finally, corporate has realized this, after selling an incredibly low number of systems and games. My store probably sells one Xbox a month or so." Honestly does anyone own the original xbox anymore? If you do you probably don't play video games and your not looking at this site so who cares.

Fallout 3 was a very promising game, and one that truly lived up to it's hype. With the developer being Bethseda it was only a matter of time before they released some downloadable content. Operation Anchorage
The military simulation of one of the greatest battles in the Fallout universe. In this simulation the player must liberate Anchorage (a.k.a Alaska) from Chinese Communist invaders. Join the fight this January for 800 Microsoft points. The pack is said to be 4 to 5 hours of gameplay.
The Pitt
In this journey the player finds themselves in the remains of Pittsburgh in an industrial raider town. Choose you're side as you enter this mysterious town known as The Pitt. Scheduled for this February, no pricing details have been released yet.
Broken Steel
Continuing after the events of the main quest the player will find themselves joining the ranks of the Brotherhood Of Steel. The task at hand: Free the Capital Wasteland and destroy the Enclave once and for all! Scheduled for released in March, no pricing details have been released yet.

There is Gears of War, God Of War, and now there's Art Of War. Newly formed developer Game Mechanic studios is in the process of making this shooter and by the looks of it they are headed in the right direction. This is the studio's debut tittle. Unfortunately since it is still very early in development, there is not a lot of information out yet. However the Co-Founder of Game Mechanic Studios, Jason Alejandre has said, "We make shooters and we are going to start with what we do best which is exactly that. We are going to introduce players to a brand new world." He adds, "The game is different yet the same. When thinking out of the box it is very easy to get caught up in the moment. Then you find yourself somewhere in left field. We plan on straddling the line of familiar yet different." I myself am looking forward to see how this game turns out. There is no release date yet but we will keep you posted.

Not a big reader you say? Well you're in luck. Turns out GameTrailers released live action comics with voice acting and this includes all six chapters of the series. I myself have watched these, and although the voice acting isn't going to win any academy awards its still very fun to watch. Dead Space was definitely one of the best games I've played all year. It is one of the scariest games I have ever played and there is more to the story then you think. I don't think I would have liked it as much if I did not watch these comics, they really suck you into the world of Dead Space and if you watch or read these comics I can almost guarantee you will buy it.

According to recent gaming media it appears the new Lara Croft model (Alison Carroll) is in need of a boyfriend. People are so stupid that they actually sent her marriage proposals. But it seems shes really considering them as she has been quoted saying "I've had about seven marriage proposals. I get handed all these little notes. In my holsters are these little pockets so I put them in there. People have given me things in French, German, all sorts of languages, but what they need to do is leave me a little photo. I see so many people, so with a photo I could remember them." Hey idiots if you really think you have a shot marrying this girl you have brain damage. I seriously doubt shes gonna marry any gamer nerds but people are pathetic enough to try so it deserves a laugh. Personally I think she just realized the hype of the new Tomb Raider is over an she needs more attention. She is pretty hot though so here's some pictures, enjoy.
