Here's the two guitars that will be included in the Special Edition of the new Beatles: Rock Band game. They are both the most often used guitars by John Lennon and George Harrison, the Rickenbacker 325 and Gretsch Duo Jet. They look pretty cool in my opinion and I'm sure I'll pick one of them up but this just makes me wonder, just how much is this game going to cost? Well, anyway keep checking the

The rumors were confirmed in a retail listing of the new Beatles: Rock Band title that up to three people will be able to sing at once. This of course hints towards the people playing the instruments to also sing but at my first look I couldn't help but think of having six people play at once. Now maybe all the drunk girls and kids who play on medium will have something else to do besides ruin the song for everyone else playing at a party. See the full story when you

Featuring the ability to play drums, lead guitar, bass guitar or sing three part harmony with up to three microphones, The Beatles: Rock Band will focus on authentically recreating the feeling of performing The Beatles music on stage and in the studio."
Sounds pretty serious to me and this just adds to my excitement for this one, as always I'll keep you posted as more info is released.

While the Guitar Hero series has been relentlessly hitting us with garbage titles like Aerosmith and The 80's, the guys over at Harmonics have been consistent with RB2 dlc while they work on their latest title featuring the Beatles. Set for release on 9/9/09 at $250 it's sure to be another addition to my music games. According to Gamestop the limited edition of this title is said to include the following:
- A Höfner Bass (possibly with dual strummers?)
- A pearl finish Ludwig Rock Band Drum set with a metal bass pedal and replica drumhead
- A Microphone and a stand

On top of the "instruments" above you can see on the
Official Rock Band Beatles site the guitar that will be included. Save that site because it started out a blank room and is being gradually filled with everything to be included in the game. With that said my guess to the full package is everything in the following picture (no mic in it) except the black guitar.
Love Rock Band, Love the Beatles, Can't wait. I'll keep you posted as more info is released.

As soon as Rock Band unplugged was announced for PSP a lot of questions went through my head. Is there going to be new tracks, would there be multiplayer support, and more importantly how are the controls going to work. Tracks will be broken down into "phrases" which the player must beat-match perfectly to score multipliers and use the PSP's directional pad and buttons to play along with guitar, bass, drum and vocal tracks.
