July 24th 2007. Yahtzee (Creator of Zero Punctuation) releases his first video on youtube. It's a short review of The Darkness demo. The video description reads 'A short experimental film in which I attempt to make a video using only recorded speech and static images. In this one I give a rundown of my first attempt to play the demo of the Darkness.' Little did Yahtzee know only a month later would he be picked up by the escapist magazine and his experiment had now become his career. Every Wednesday Yahtzee posts a new video, to date he know has 82 reviews up. Some say its just as good as ever, others say it feels like the same video every week.

I definitely think hes still funny, that 50 cent review was hilarious. I agree with a lot of the things he says but sometimes he can just be an idiot, like the mgs4 and halo 3 reviews. Also, he reviews some games without playing their multiplayer, which isn't a full review if you ask me...With games being such a social experience nowadays its very crucial to include the multiplayer in a review and he doesn't so it just makes me think the work he does is kinda half-assed. Meanwhile you got kids looking at his site thinking certain games suck when he hasent even reviewed the game as a whole, then to top it off he gets paid for it.
