Just when it seemed that The Watchmen movie was doomed to spend its days in a Warner Brothers vault, WB and Fox have reached an agreement on the distribution of the movie. For those of you who haven't been following the case, here's a brief summary. Fox, after passing on making a Watchmen movie for more than 15 years, saw how much hype and good publicity the new trailers have been getting and decided they still had rights to the movie and wanted money for it. Warner Brothers promptly told them to fuck off. Then a judge, who all you need to know is that he is batshit insane decided Fox did have rights to the film and that he would rule in favor of them. I am pleased however to inform you that Fox and Warner Brothers have reached an agreement and plan to finalize the deal later today. While the deal will not be made public, it is understood that Fox will get a shit ton of money for doing absolutely nothing. Warner Brothers will retain the rights for all future Watchmen products however. The sad thing is Warner Brothers took a chance with this movie and after they seemed to have done everything right, another company came and essentially robbed them. While I'm overjoyed that I'll get to see this movie in theatres in two months, I fear this will set a new precedent with companies continuously dicking each other over until no one bothers adapting well known products.

So i guess you weren't a fan of Spider-Man, X-men 1 and 2, Blade 1 and 2, Batman Begins, Iron Man,Road to Perdition, V for Vendetta, A History of Violence, Sin City, 300, or The Dark Knight? well actually if you didnt like any of those adaptations then no one gives a shit about your movie a opinion so shut the fuck up.
