Bethesda, publisher of Fallout 3, has just annouced Fallout New Vegas at a Bethesda press conference in London. The game is being worked on by Obsidian Entertainment, developers of KOTOR II, Neverwinter Nights, and Alpha Protocol.
This isn't just another DLC addon pack like Operation Anchorage or The Pitt, howerever. Bethesda's Peter Hines says that the game is "Not a sequel to Fallout 3...It's simply another Fallout game in that universe".
The game is set to be released next year for the PS3, 360, and PC.
